Annual General Meetings (AGM)

The AGM must be held in the first quarter of each calendar year. It normally takes place in early March. For the AGM to be quorate, at least 20 members must attend either in person or via a proxy. All paid-up members are entitled to a vote (one per household) at the AGM. The AGM agenda includes approval of the previous year's minutes; a statement by the Chairman outlining and discussing important issues over the last year; presentation and approval of the previous year's accounts; a report on road maintenance issues and the proposed programme for the upcoming year (subject to budgetary constraints); a report on environmental matters; approval of the proposed annual subscription for the current year; the nomination and election of Directors; and any other business that members may wish to raise.
